Fair Winds at Home

Fair Winds & Following Seas: "A nautical phrase of good luck – a blessing – as a person, group, or thing is said to depart on a voyage in life. Expressing hope for the voyager to reach their destination under favourable conditions without interruption, strife or detour and to follow a safe journey home."

At this time, people are instructed by Public Health England and Government to stay home. With this firmly in our minds we've adapted the work to be a comfort as a home based experience in these challenging times. (https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus)

Showcased at Freedom Festival 2019 and BBC Contains Strong Language, Fair Winds & Following Seas was a completely unique and intimate experience with an original musical soundscape written by The Broken Orchestra and poetry from Vicky Foster This immersive journey allowed you to explore the everyday world in a completely different way.

As we face these unusual times of social distancing and isolation, we have opened up the audio part of Fair Winds & Following Seas to experience and listen to in your home. Our whole concept with this project was about re-imaging the world around you with the help of soundtrack and poetry. We now offer you an opportunity to spend an hour of your day in a safe environment with nothing but your imagination and our work - let us take your mind to the River Hull from the safety of your armchair.

Pay what you can

Fair Winds & Following Seas is an immersive experience for you to enjoy at home. For us, as self employed creatives in an already fragile industry we have been hit hard, losing a substantial amount of work almost over night. If you feel you are in a position to pay what you can via the link below then we would really appreciate it and any donations will help us prepare further work, recover cancelled work and allow us to keep surviving. If you can't then it is no problem simply enjoying this experience, sharing our work, liking us on social media and purchasing our music. Commenting and interacting makes a huge difference to us!

As we passionately look to move FWFS into a new phase in 2020, we now have a donation option available and ask for your support. Thank you.
